Throughout the Essence of Healing course, you will learn from American Indian nurses during different points in their careers. In this first module, nurses share stories about what inspired them to choose nursing as a career path.

Have you ever seen a movie that makes you want to be like the hero? Or heard a story that moves you to change your mind about something?

Maybe you’ve had an experience that has made you look at life differently. Or maybe your spirit is energized by religious beliefs, music or another form of art.

Inspiration is a feeling that influences you to want to take action or think differently. Inspiration moves us. Let’s listen to what inspired these nurses.
