    <p class=”mol-para-with-font”>A former Asos and Adidas model who cut off a woman’s hair and made her eat it from a dog bowl has been locked up again for assaulting another former girlfriend.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Karl Soames, 26, fractured his partner’s eye socket at his Notting Hill home during a domestic argument on August 25 2019.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Soames, of Notting Hill, admitted grievous bodily harm at Isleworth Crown Court. </p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>He was sentenced to eight months behind bars by Judge Simon Davis on Wednesday – but <span style=”font-size: 16px;”>could be released within weeks after serving three and a half months on remand in HMP Wandsworth. </span></p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>The August 2019 attack came just three months after he had cut the hair of his previous lover while subjecting her to a terrifying ordeal inside his central London home – during which he whipped her with a coat hanger, beat her head with a metal pole and made her clean up dog faeces. </p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Soames also threatened to have her raped and murdered if she tried to escape, before calling up a relative to brag about the torment he had inflicted. </p><div class=”artSplitter mol-img-group” style=”style”> <div class=”mol-img”> <div class=”image-wrap”> Karl Soames (pictured), 26, fractured his partner's eye socket in his Notting Hill home during a domestic argument on August 25 2019. </div> <noscript> Karl Soames (pictured), 26, fractured his partner's eye socket in his Notting Hill home during a domestic argument on August 25 2019. </noscript> </div> <p class=”imageCaption”>Karl Soames (pictured), 26, fractured his partner’s eye socket in his Notting Hill home during a domestic argument on August 25 2019.</p></div><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>But at sentencing for the second attack on Wednesday, which saw his lover hospitalised, Soames insisted he had ‘learnt his lesson’, while his barrister told the court he has a ‘bright future’ in the music industry.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Judge Davis, sentencing Soames, said: ‘You can either take it on board or throw it away.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’Are you going to continue to hit women, and use all that cowardice and bully-like nature, are you going to think and act like that, or use the talents you have in music or modelling to construct?</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’The first route will destruct, and the second will construct.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’If you have not found out, as you should do, there are very few people sitting by you in Wandsworth Prison today who have your gifts.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’Those who do have those opportunities will waste them as you may do if you carry on hitting women.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’If you have changed, then you will use those gifts to build, and if you have not changed you won’t.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’It may be that sometimes you find that it is more complicated than I have just set out there, but it really boils down to: Am I going to learn and change, or am I going to persist.'</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>He added: ‘There will be in each of those environments where you are able to display your gifts, in music or modelling, a higher tendency to drop you like a ton of bricks, because it is not tolerable anymore.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’It should never have been tolerable, but in recent times we are finding out how common it is.</p><div class=”artSplitter mol-img-group” style=”style”> <div class=”mol-img”> <div class=”image-wrap”> Soames (pictured) was sentenced to eight months behind bars by Judge Simon Davis on Wednesday -     He can be seen working in Barcelona with his twin brother Archie in a short Asos commercial.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Footage on YouTube entitled ‘Making Model Moves’ describes the brothers as ‘part of a new generation of models putting Kenya on the international fashion map’ and says the pair have modelled for Vivienne Westwood, Adidas, Asos, Native Youth and others’.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Instagram features an Asos clip showing the brothers modelling in Barcelona.</p></div>
